The Safety Seminar is offered at the beginning of both Fall and Spring terms.  Each is followed within approximately a week by the Safety Exam.  The Safety Exam may also be offered at other times. Students needing to take or retake the exam at any time should contact our facilities manager, Tim Banks.

Students working in MSE laboratories must also complete “Right to Know” training (mandated by State Law) at least once a year. This training may be obtained online at  or by attending various special seminars.

Mr. Banks and can assist you with any questions or problems.  His office is located in room 181 in the J. Erskine Love Jr. Manufacturing building.
