Research Lab
The Composites Manufacturing and Research Laboratory is part of the Composites Education and Research Center (CERC). The lab is located in the Manufacturing Research Center and
consists of a 5,000 square foot high-bay area, which houses industrial polymer and composites processing equipment, and a 1,000 square foot chemistry and non-destructive testing laboratory. The lab is used for a
wide variety of research programs in composites manufacture and testing, covering the span between polymer synthesis through compounding, pre-preg formation to product manufacture, and mechanical and non-destructive
testing.
