Ferguson Professor Materials Science and Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering School of Electrical and Computer Engineering Georgia Institute of Technology Atlanta, GA 30332-0250 Office:  Bunger Henry, Room 231 Phone: 404.385.2885 ianf@ece.gatech.edu Dr. Ferguson is a professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and holds a joint appointment with the School of Materials Science and Engineering.  Dr. Ferguson is a native of Scotland and attended Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland where he received a Bachelor of Science with Honors in 1984.  He continued his studies at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, obtaining a Master of Science in 1986, and his Ph.D. 1989 in optoelectronics and compound semiconductor materials and devices.
